Leadership is often developed through models, tools and conversations. Important, but incomplete.
Leadership beyond borders is an open, experience-based leadership programme for individuals who want to feel, reflect on and understand leadership from the inside out.
By stepping outside familiar environments, participants are introduced to experience-based learning as a powerful way to develop self-awareness, perspective and leadership behaviour. This programme is not about becoming a “better manager”. It is about becoming a more conscious leader — of yourself and others.
Leadership beyond borders is designed for individual participation. You don’t need to come with a company, a team or a predefined leadership role. You come with curiosity, openness and a willingness to learn from experience.
This open format allows participants to:

It is often the first encounter with experience-based learning for many participants — and intentionally so. By exposing leaders to a radically different context, Leadership beyond borders creates perspective. And perspective creates better leaders.
Participants don’t just learn about leadership — they experience it.
In experience-based learning, experience comes first.
Not as an illustration of theory, but as the starting point for insight. During Leadership beyond borders, participants are immersed in the real-life context of a refugee center that naturally brings forward themes such as:
Through guided reflection, these experiences are translated into personal leadership insights that are relevant far beyond the programme itself. No role plays. No abstract cases.
Just real situations that invite real reflection.
We start by creating a safe learning environment and introducing the principals of experience-based learning.
Participants are invited to slow down, observe and stay curious.
You step into an unfamiliair environment that challenges habitual ways of thinking and acting. This context acts as a mirror - not to judge, but to reveal patterns.
Guided reflection helps you connect:
Individual insights are enriched through group dialogue.
We translate insights into personal takaways:
"Great immersive experience, great connection, super feedback of the Telenet participants, 100% impactful! Thanks StreetwiZe!"
Anne Lenaers, Telenet

"Our organisation believes in a leadership style that operates from equality, respect, and integrity. The hierarchical form of leadership, in which the leader must have all the knowledge, is limited in the current business world/culture. That is precisely why we have included the StreetwiZe Expedition in our Lead Smart Program because it challenges you to tap into those competencies. StreetwiZe offers us the opportunity to let future leaders collaborate with a target group that lies outside their comfort zone in a safe environment. In our opinion, it is the ideal way to sharpen your leadership skills."
