This three-day expedition challenges everything you think you know about leadership. Together with a group of refugees, you’ll step into unfamiliar territory—literally and figuratively—and discover the strength of inclusive, connected leadership.

This is not a training room experience. It’s a co-creative journey that pushes you to connect, communicate, and lead across differences. What emerges is powerful: self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to unite people around a shared goal, no matter the context.

Through immersive collaboration with your refugee teammates, you’ll learn what it really takes to lead when trust is not a given, when communication requires more than words, and when success depends on how well you can bring people together.

You’ll reflect deeply, act boldly, and return with insights that shift how you lead.

What you'll develop

1. Self-awareness & self-leadership: Strong leadership starts with knowing yourself. This experience will sharpen your awareness of how you show up, what drives you, and how you impact others. You’ll learn to lead from your values, take responsibility for your actions, and stay grounded—especially in uncertain or unfamiliar situations.
2. Inclusive mindset: Working closely with people from different walks of life challenges your perspective and expands your empathy. You’ll practise recognising individual talents and creating a safe, inclusive environment where everyone’s contribution matters—key to building high-performing, resilient teams.
3. Inspiring leadership: You’ll explore how to engage others around a shared goal, even when the path isn’t clear. Learn to lead with purpose, bring energy into the group, and foster collaboration—not through authority, but through trust, authenticity and connection.
4. Empathy in action: True connection goes beyond words. By stepping into the world of others, you’ll practise deep listening, curiosity and presence. This ability to understand and relate to others is essential to building trust and navigating complex team dynamics with care and clarity.
