Learn how to navigate complexity by connecting opposing perspectives and turning paradoxes into stronger, more innovative decisions.
From either–or to both–and in complex decision-making
Today’s leaders operate in environments marked by ambiguity, competing priorities and constant tension between seemingly opposing demands. Integrative thinking is the capability to work with these tensions — not by choosing one side, but by consciously combining perspectives to create stronger, more innovative solutions.
In this one-day workshop, participants experience first-hand why linear decision-making often falls short in complex situations. They start with a challenging case that appears almost impossible to solve using traditional approaches. As the day unfolds, one insight becomes clear: progress only emerges when different viewpoints are explored, connected and integrated.
Building on this experience, we introduce a clear, evidence-based framework for integrative thinking. Participants learn a practical step-by-step approach to analysing complex challenges, synthesising insights and making well-considered decisions without oversimplifying reality or defaulting to compromises. The workshop concludes with the application of the framework to a real, current strategic challenge from the participant’s own professional context, ensuring immediate relevance and transfer to practice.
